We looked at some pic's of an baby elephant and had to write the story in our own words.

Stuck in mud, lovely, here's my story......

It had been raining all night so at the strike of dawn I decided to go for a stroll. BUT!!! When I was walking beside a railroad, suddenly the ground collapsed in on me.

I slid down a muddy cliff until I hit goey mud. I trumpeted and trumpeted but no one replied.

It was about 3'o clock in the afternoon when finally some rescuers came. They started throwing leaves for me to eat because I hadn't eaten all day. After a while some zoo workers came to rescue me. They got me out with a huff and puff. Out and walking again, next time I should be more careful when I go for a stroll.
