100 wc week 13

Once upon a time I was walking in Dead park.  And the next step I took I was in a pot of boiling hot water I screamed said to myself “ Where am I”  I screamed for help but knowone replied.  I tryed jumping out 1st attempt  failed but the 2nd attempt worked and i tryed to run away but I was about 100 story’s high and I could hear yelling It sounded like an ogre.

I came across a pile of leaves but as the leaves rustled I returned to dead park I said to myself “ That was a weird adventure.”

Mmm thats tasty.  This book is about your tongue and it has got wonderful diragrams.  I think you should read this book because it explanes so much about  your tongue and mouth

50th jubile

A Day in Room 11 at Oaklands School in 2014.

My name is Dylan Scott

Oaklands School is 50 in 2014 .  My teacher is Mrs Patten and our reliever is Mrs Mcleod . Their is roughly 580 people at Oaklands and the years go from yr 0 to yr 8 plus we have got 29 people in our class  and 25 classrooms in the school.

I get to school by car sometimes by walking, scootering or biking not a very big walk for me because I only live 3 blocks away.

At Oaklands School we have a lot of technology for e.g. in our class we have 5 laptops, 1 desktop, 4 I-pads, 2 I-pods and an apple tv.

Oaklands School teaches 3 main subjects they  are Writing, Reading and Maths.  We also have other subjects like Integrated Studies, SQUIRT which is silent reading, Fitness, storytime and Sport/P.E.  My favourite subject is Maths, because it challenges me.  

At our school we have 1 basketball court, 2 netball courts, a chess board and 3 handball courts.  We also have 3 playgrounds and a field. The  playgrounds are for years 0-2, 3-4 and 5-8.

I hope Oaklands School can live on for another 50 years to get to 100 years old.

 This picture is the prompt for week 8 of the 100 word challenge.

Why can I not get to sleep?!!!

Maybe I should have a drink of milk.  

"Oh why," I wondered.  

I should go for a walk, that will burn some energy.  When I was walking I came across a statue.  I had a look at the statue then continued on.  Five minutes later, "WHAT," I thought, I had already passed this statue.  

I progressed on but I heard a noise.  I quickly turned around and the statue had moved and when I turned around again the statue was chasing me.  I screamed for my life and ran my heart out.   

100wc week #7 ...I could not believe the smell

I was at school and when it was brain food time I got out my apple. I could not believe the smell.  I took a big bite and before I could  say, “ OMG, “  I ran to the boys toilet and spat the apple out.  Before I went back to class I had a good hard look at my apple. It was rotten, soft, brown and it had a worm farm in it. It smelt like a mixture of food rubbish and vomit. 
I quickly threw it in the bin. 
After school I told my mum that my apple was rotten. I was feeling quite annoyed that I missed out on my fruit break just because mum had not checked the quality of fruit in my lunch box.
